AGRONOMY JOURNAL FULL MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION
Agronomy Journal will accept manuscripts to be reviewed and considered for publication in the special issue “European Turfgrass Conference 2020”. The work has to meet the general requirements of Agronomy Journal. See here for the editorial policy and for the publications handbook and style manual:
https://dl.sciencesocieties.org/publications/editorial-policies
https://dl.sciencesocieties.org/publications/style/
The manuscript has to be submitted to Agronomy Journal using Manuscript Central:
https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/agron
If you don’t have an account, you have to create one. After you logged on, select the Author tab and fill in the information requested. For the manuscript type, it is important to select “European Turfgrass Conference 2020“. Dr. Mike Richardson and Dr. John Stier are the TEs (technical editor) for this special issue. One of their names should be listed as TE after you submit your manuscript. Let us know if you have questions or if a different name is listed for TE.
EXTENDED ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The Extended Abstract should have the title, author names and institutions to which they belong. Because space is limited, content should be concise and to the point:
- Introduction
- Scope or research objectives of your study (one or two sentences).
- Brief description methods and materials (one or two sentences).
- Results or key findings (one or two sentences, be specific enough but state only your main points).
- Conclusions (one sentence).
- Do not include literature citations or references in figures or tables.
- Use English language.
General Format: Document should be no longer than 2 pages, single spaced, Calibri 10 pt. font, with 2.5 cm margins (sides and top/bottom).
Abstract Title: Title should be concise and clearly identify the nature of the study. Should be in ALL CAPS, centred, using Calibri 10 pt. font.
Authors: List all authors two lines below title (still centred), in Calibri 10 pt. Numbers in superscript should follow each author’s name indicating their institutional/organizational affiliations. On a new line, after the last author’s name, list the affiliation by number for each of the authors.
Text: Text should start on the left-hand side of the page two lines below the author’s names/affiliations. Please include in your extended abstract a brief introduction, followed by methods and at the end results/discussion.
Figures / Tables: Authors can include figures and/or tables; however, they must be contained within the 2 page limit. A Calibri 8 pt. font should be used for table or figure descriptions. Do not forget that you need to maximize text space within the two pages.
References and Citations: References should be included as footnotes, using 8 pt. Calibri font with citations being listed as numbers within the text.
Registrations will be open in September 2019
