Turf grasses impact a large number of people in many ways on a daily basis. Millions of square metres (approximately 5% of the total area of Germany) of turf grass in parks, home lawns, commercial landscapes, roadsides, athletic fields, golf courses and sod farms improve our quality of life by providing open space, recreational and business opportunities, enhanced property values, and the conservation of important natural resources.
