We invite you to join a three day coach ride from Kristiansand to Bergen through variable and beautiful scenery. Please note that the tour will end up in Bergen city, far from Kristiansand! The roads in Norway are narrow and curved. Driving takes some time.
Departure from the conference hotel is Wednesday 27 June 8:30 in the morning. Be dressed for a walk in the mountains.
Day one: Driving with only a few stops along the south coast, ending up for lunch at Preikestolhytta www.preikestolenfjellstue.no at one o'clock. Here we'll challenge you all to take a walk (3-4 hours!) up to Preikestolen (=the pulpit rock) on path not suitable for disabled. www.ryfylke.com/en/Preikestolen. An alternative will be to visit a 9 hole, local golf club. In the afternoon we drive to Stavanger city ('The Oil Capital of Norway') for dinner and a night at Victoria hotel.
Day two: Start 9:15. Ferry boat brings us north to Karmøy island. Visit to Norvegen Historic Center at Avaldsnes. After lunch we will be driving along west coast fjords, ending up at a hotel in a small village in the fruit district of Hardanger.

Day three: We drive to Bergen through Voss, which is a popular center for alpine skiing and extreme sports. Bergen is a beautiful city between seven mountains, known for the high amount of precipitation. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bergen You will get some hours to do walking/shopping on your own. The last stop will be at Fantoft stave church, representing a unique Norwegian architecture, before we end up at Flesland airport at 5 p.m. (Only lunch is included this last day)
We will guide you all the way, and bring information about Norwegian history, culture, politics, economy and nature.
